About
Brendan Korey has music and education running in his blood. Born to a family of fellow musicians and educators, the fit was natural. He began playing saxophone in sixth grade, doubled on french horn, clarinets, and saxophones in high school, and took on high school leadership positions.
In 2017, Brendan enrolled in Boston University, majoring in Music Education. In addition to his studies at BU, he studied abroad at the Royal College of Music in London, student taught in Randolph, Massachusetts, and graduated with honors in 2021.
Today, Brendan teaches in East Windsor Regional School District as an elementary instrumental music teacher and at Allentown High School as a music instructor for the esteemed marching band, where he has instructed two national championship-winning ensembles.
Outside of teaching, Brendan is an avid reader, athlete, and is currently learning piano. Also, he has too many pictures of his beloved dog, Abbey, waiting to be shown to his students.
“Great works are performed not by strength, but by perseverance.”
